This celebratory weekend begins Friday, August 31 and concludes Sunday, September 2, but guests are welcome to choose which nights they would like to attend.
Join us for a heartwarming weekend celebrating BIG STEPS FORWARD (new buildings, programs, plantings and plans!)  in honor of our founder Yogacharya Oliver’s 125th Birthday Memorial.  A detailed schedule of the weekend will follow soon, but will include an original play, outdoor activities, and a chance to reconnect with your spiritual home as we plan the future together.

Come walk the forest shrine trails, swim in the refreshing waters of the Pigeon River or nearby Pickerel Lake, practice hatha yoga and best of all, meditate deeply among fellow seekers.  Simply come to be in the high vibrations of our beautiful spiritual retreat.

So, come, celebrate the love we share for God, guru and one another. Come celebrate the past, present and future of our retreat. All are invited to attend this inspiring annual tradition! Come and connect on a deeper level with this blessed retreat and the vision that Yogacharya Oliver Black imparted for all of us to continue creating now and for future generations to come!

These memorable weekends celebrating the life and legacy of Yogacharya are also becoming an established time of reunion for staff and visitors from across the five decades of our development–and are a warm and friendly weekend for those who are interested in what this intentional yoga community is all about! Please come and bring your friends, family, children, grandchildren and neighbors. We are planning activities for all!

There is no program fee for this event. Donations are graciously accepted to help maintain the retreat center. Accommodations are limited and this is anticipated to be a full weekend, so book early to secure a room on the Song of the Morning property!
