About the Peace Service
Yogacharya founded Song of the Morning Ranch in 1970 at the behest of Paramahansa Yogananda, as a haven of peace and safety.
In an atmosphere of meditation, prayer and devotion we continue to celebrate his intention by praying for world peace after each meditation.
But in these troubled times, we have instigated a regular special peace service to emphasize our commitment to the notion that world peace can be attained through our combined longer specific prayer efforts.
These services are in the format of SRF’s Worldwide Prayer Circle and last about 20 minutes each.
They are conducted once a month before the Saturday evening regular meditation.
