A Guest Teacher Retreat

“In the spiritual life one becomes just like a little child–without resentment, without attachment, full of life and joy.

~Paramahansa Yogananda

Submerge yourself into the heart of yoga during a fun and spiritually nourishing weekend retreat in the deep woodlands of Song of the Morning Yoga & Meditation Retreat Center.

Within this retreat, we will not only be focusing on the most common type of yoga, hatha yoga, (the yoga of postures) but also the lesser-known branches of yoga in our Western world. This includes heart-opening bhakti yoga through devotional singing and chanting, karma yoga through practicing selfless service in Ranch community garden, jnana yoga through compelling discussions on yogic philosophy and fully embracing the totality of raja yoga, the royal meditative path towards sacred union of our divine nature.

Together we will intentionally set aside our daily worries, thoughts and rigid routines, and instead connect with the essence of life as we support each other home into the arms of the divine.

This retreat is for souls new to the yogic path or for seasoned yogis who would like to go deeper in their practice.
