Monthly Three Hour Meditation (Dec 7, 2024)
With Clear Light Community
December 7, 2024
1 – 4 p.m. (in the Lodge)
Our 3-hour meditations are an on-going tradition led by members of our Clear Light Community. They are held on the first Saturday of every month from 1 – 4 p.m. (or the following Saturday when special events take place the first Saturday, we will notify when this happens) and are located in our Lodge hermitage. We would be honored for you to join us during the full three hours or for just one. Our meditations are rooted in the tradition of Paramahansa Yogananda and Self-Realization Fellowship.
Each hour of the meditation begins with a period of chanting, prayer and an inspirational reading, which is followed by a period of silent meditation. You are welcome to come and go on the hour during the periods of chanting, or to take a short stretching break. You may attend for any hours of the meditation you wish.
You’re also welcome to break-up your meditation with our complimentary gentle hatha yoga class at 2 p.m. which is located in our Domes building.
Please wear comfortable loose clothing. We have plenty of chairs, meditation cushions, pillows and blankets available for you to use, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, please wait to register for a class until all symptoms are free and clear.
Thank you for your interest in joining us in our community lead meditations. We hope to see you soon!
