Spring 2025 Fellowship With Yogacharya

On Saturday, April 5 from 2 to 4 p.m., we are pleased to continue our “Fellowship with Yogacharya”  series.

The 9th installment of our “Fellowship with Yogacharya” series is titled “Spiritual Truths”, recorded on March 30, 1969. In a wide-ranging and informal conversation with devotees, Yogacharya discusses: The Law of Giving; The Power of the Mind; The Power of Spinal Energy; Karmic Law & Non-Violence; The Karma of Nations; Realization & Sainthood; and The Importance of Balance.

These rare recordings are remastered for these presentations by a team of volunteer devotees. These recordings originate from informal satsang that would spring naturally from the curious young students of Self Realization Fellowship during their time with Yogacharya Oliver Black. Yogacharya would answer their questions, offering unique insights and perspectives that only come from a true Yogacharya, the title given to Mr. Black by his Guru Paramahansa Yogananda. These recordings are combined with relevant photos of this historical time and subtitles to make listening easier while displayed on a large screen. 

You are welcome to join the program only, or you can register to stay for Dinner that evening at 5 pm. You may also book a night’s stay at the Retreat and arrive early by coming on Friday. For guests staying at the Retreat, meals are included in the cost of your accommodations.

Friday

• 2 – 4 p.m. – Check-in

• 5 p.m. – Dinner (registration required)

• 8 p.m. – Meditation

Saturday

• 10 a.m. – Brunch (registration required)

• 2-4 p.m. – Fellowship with Yogacharya Presentation (if you are only coming for the Fellowship, no registration is required)

• 5 p.m. – Dinner (registration required)

• 8:00 p.m. – SOM Meditation (prayer, guidance, silence and healing service) followed by time for fellowship and light refreshments

Sunday

• 11 a.m. – Sunday Service (75 min.) – based on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda

• 1 p.m. – Sunday Community Dinner

Program Fee: Just pay the cost of your meals or lodging. Donations towards supporting Song of the Morning are always welcomed.
