A Golden Lotus Hatha Yoga Retreat

“The excellence of Yoga is that it points out both the goal and the way.”

Paramahansa Yogananda

Step away from the noise of daily life and immerse yourself in a peaceful, heart-centered weekend designed to nourish your body, calm your mind, and reconnect you with your inner light. Living in the Light is a thoughtfully guided retreat blending yoga, meditation, nature, and community into a deeply restorative and uplifting experience.

Your journey begins Friday afternoon with a gentle arrival and warm welcome, easing you into the tranquil rhythm of the retreat. After settling in, you’ll be guided through Golden Lotus Hatha Yoga, followed by a shared vegetarian dinner and an evening introduction. The day closes with a community meditation to center your awareness and set your intention for the weekend.

Saturday invites you to awaken at your own pace, choosing between a gentle or invigorating morning yoga session. The day unfolds with a nourishing brunch, a mindful mandala nature walk, and spacious free time for reflection, journaling, service (karma yoga), or rest. Afternoon yoga deepens your practice, while the evening brings a meaningful World Peace Ceremony, meditation, and a lighthearted session exploring yoga hand mudras—balancing depth with joy and connection.

On Sunday, celebrated as International Day of Yoga, you’ll integrate the weekend’s experiences through a unifying morning practice. A closing mandala offering ceremony provides a moment of gratitude and intention, followed by a Sunday service and a final fellowship meal to honor the connections formed.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll experience a harmonious blend of structured practice and personal time, all within a supportive and welcoming community. Whether you are seeking spiritual renewal, physical relaxation, or simply space to breathe and reflect, Living in the Light offers a meaningful path back to yourself.

Guided by some of our most experienced GLYTA Yoga Teachers and open to all levels.
