Masks are no longer required while outdoors at Song of the Morning. While indoors, masks are optional for those who are unvaccinated, but still required for those who are not.
Retreat Description
The weekend includes yoga, meditation, visualization, group experience, divination, a drum journey, inspirational reading and play. Come prepared to look inside, to share, and to increase your sense of enjoyment. No prior yoga or meditation experience necessary.
If you’re feeling stuck in your emotional or spiritual life, this retreat will provide tools and practices to experience significant expansion. Some experience with spirituality is a plus but not necessary. Participants should bring a yoga mat and/or a blanket, writing materials (computers and tablets are ok).
Prices listed during the registration process will include meal and accommodation fees with the base program fee of $108. Private rooms in the Domes begin at $50/night per person, not including meals which will be charged at a later date.

5 p.m. – Dinner and Free Time
7 – 8 p.m. – Introductions to One Another and to the Weekend
8 – 8:30 p.m. – Introduction: What is Happiness–personal reflections and discussion
8:30 – 9 p.m. – Yoga Nidra and Drumming Journey
Saturday
6:30 – 7 a.m. – Wake up seated meditation
7 – 8 a.m. – Light breakfast/snack in the domes/free time
8 – 9 a.m. – Light Yoga/stretching
9 – 10 a.m. – Guided journaling, socially distant small group discussion
10 – 11 a.m. – Breakfast
11 am – 1:00 p.m. – Free time
1:00 – 2:30 p.m. – Seated Group Guided Happiness Meditation and Discussion
2:30 – 4:00 p.m. – Personal Reflection/Free time
4:00 – 4:45 p.m. – Light yoga, stretching
5 – 7 p.m. – Dinner and Free Time
7 – 7:30 p.m. – Mindfulness Meditation
7:30 – 8:30 p.m. – Group Discussion/ Q & A
8:30 – 9 p.m. – Yoga Nidra
9 p.m. – Silent Night (Light’s Out)
Sunday
6:30 – 7 a.m. – Meditation (optional)
7 – 8 a.m. – Light breakfast/free time

Nancy McCaochan
Nancy McCaochan, MA, E-RYT 500, has been facilitating group experiences since 1980. She has more than 1000 hours training in hatha and kundalini yogas and in meditation.
