“By the practice of meditation, you will find that you are carrying within your heart a portable paradise.”
~Paramahansa Yogananda
We invite you to this special retreat that will focus on how to weave meditation into daily life. Based on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, this retreat will focus on how to implement a meditation routine in the various types of schedules and lifestyles we have, how to carry the aftereffects of meditation into activity, and how the thread of our communion with the Divine weaves through meditation and activity alike. This retreat is designed for both new meditators and those who have meditated for many years.
Deepen your experience and connection with the “portable paradise” within you. Gradually meditation and work will weave together into a seamless awareness of the divine grace–as love, peace, joy and strength.
There will also be time in Nature and for personal reflection and quiet.
Meals: If you wish to join for meals, that option is available during registration. If you need a reduced cost for meals to make attending possible, please reach out and we can arrange that!
Retreat Fee: The Retreat and Naren are working together to make it possible for those who are here helping to build and grow SOM to participate in these retreats. We don’t want cost to be a limiting factor, and want it to be as easy as possible to join. There is no cost for joining the program! For logistical purposes, we do need folks to register through this page, which requires no payment (unless you add meals.)
