Experience the quiet woods as if you were camping, but with some luxuries of indoor lodging - also known as "Glamping". This completely private cabin has a cozy full-size bed with bedding, and nearby access to showers and camper bathrooms. There is no electricity, heat, or running water in the cabin. Parking is about 30 feet from the cabin.
This newly renovated space offers a completely private apartment suite. There is a separate Queen Bedroom with a private porch overlooking a wooded area alive with birds and other wildlife. Suite features a full bath with a tub, a full kitchen, a sitting area and desk, a dining area under skylights, and a futon couch (sleeps an additional guest if requested for a small fee). Ideal for guests seeking more privacy, and can be arranged for Seclusion Retreat if desired.
This suite-style room is a brand new accommodation situated on the ground floor of the renovated Boathouse. The upstairs of the Boathouse was the residence of our founder, Yogacharya Oliver Black, a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda. Here he deeply meditated and had numerous sacred experiences and visions. In 2025 it was renovated creating the two ground-floor Hermitage Suites with a shared kitchen and dining room. The upstairs was made into the Golden Lotus Meditation Sanctuary, open daily to members for silent meditation. This suite features picturesque views of the river meadow with ample windows for natural light, a full-size bed, sitting area, separate mudroom, and a gorgeous tiled private bathroom. This room was designed to be ADA accessible. This secluded space allows seekers to dive deeply into the inner and outer silence, and to feel the vibrations of God-communion. Please note: Suites share the kitchen and dining space. Each door to the kitchen area locks to ensure privacy in the living quarters. Contact Office to reserve the entire Suite as a group.
