Clear Light Community Day: Living in Paramahansa Yogananda’s Spirit of World Brotherhood

All are welcome to join us as we celebrate our blossoming World Brotherhood Community! The extraordinary vision of Paramahansa Yogananda and Yogacharya Oliver Black laid the very foundation upon which our community of spiritual seekers is being built.

Each year, we gather as a community to reflect, reconnect, and explore how this sacred vision continues to unfold in our lives and in the growth of Clear Light. Community Day offers a special opportunity to come together in fellowship, learn more about our ever-evolving community, and share in the inspiration of what is yet to come.

This year’s gathering will include meaningful opportunities for connection, fellowship, and learning. A special highlight of the weekend will be a guided tour of the Clear Light Community. Participants will gather at the Wheelhouse for an introduction to the history and vision of Clear Light Community, followed by a question-and-answer session. Following the introduction, guests will visit the home of Tom Wright and the future site of the Fitzgerald family’s home while learning more about life within the community. Participants may choose to walk or drive between locations. The tour will conclude with fellowship and refreshments at the Pilobosian home, providing time to connect with friends, neighbors, and fellow spiritual seekers.

To support this weekend as a time of community gathering, we are offering discounted accommodations for Clear Light Community members who live farther away because we want you to be here with us! Community Day Weekend Schedule – Tentative

FRIDAY, JULY 3

2:00 – 4:00 p.m. – Check-in

5:00 p.m. – Dinner (registration required)

8:00 p.m. – Community Meditation (chanting, prayer, silent meditation, and healing service)

SATURDAY, JULY 4

8:45 a.m. – Hatha Yoga (Domes)

10:00 a.m. – Brunch (registration required)

11:30 a.m. – Clear Light Community Orientation & Tour

Gather at the Wheelhouse for an introduction to Clear Light Community, its history, vision, and a question-and-answer session. Participants will then visit the home of Tom Wright and the future site of the Fitzgerald family home. Walking and driving options will be available. The afternoon will conclude with fellowship and refreshments at the Pilobosian home.

5:00 p.m. – Dinner (for Retreat Guests)

8:00 p.m. – Community Meditation (chanting, prayer, silent meditation, and healing service)

SUNDAY, JULY 5

11:00 a.m. – Self-Realization Sunday Service Reading (75 min.) – based on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda

1:00 p.m. – Sunday Community Dinner (registration required)
