2025 Guru Bhakti Retreat: Honoring the Life of Paramahansa Yogananda
With Naren K. Schreiner and Lopamudra Bose
March 6 - 9, 2025
Deepen your devotion. Be immersed in Master’s love.
Paramahansa Yogananda said, “When I am gone, only love can take my place. Be so drunk with love for God that you know nothing else but love, and give that love to all.” His Gurudeva, Swami Sri Yukteswar wrote, “The natural love of the heart is the principle requisite to attain a spiritual life.”
This weekend we honor the upcoming mahasamadhi commemorations of both Paramahansa Yogananda (March 7) and Swami Sri Yukteswar (March 9).
We will meditate, chant, have devotional services and read from the sacred teachings from the Great Ones.
As a community and circle of friends, we will drink new waters from the eternal spring of teachings from both of these great Masters.
Each participant is invited to bring and share some favorite passages about divine love and the guru-disciple relationship.
Program Fee for Three-Day Immersion: $150 includes programming for Thursday evening through Sunday. All proceeds go towards covering the costs for Song of the Morning to put on this special event and ensure it is a sustainable offering we can provide to devotees for years to come. No one will be turned away for lack of funds; arrangements can be made with the Retreat Office for those who would like to attend but cannot afford to pay in full.
On Friday, March 7th, the afternoon walk and share session, potluck dinner, and evening service (see schedule) are open to everyone on a donation basis.
Prices shown during the registration process include the program fee and the lodging and meal options. Local community members who wish to attend Friday only for the Mahasamadhi programs (including the meal) do not need to register through this page.
