November 8 - 10, 2024
An Inner Peace Retreat Introducing Meditation
“By the practice of meditation, you will find that you are carrying within your heart a portable paradise.”
~Paramahansa Yogananda
You are invited to join an uplifting weekend of relaxation and spiritual refreshment in our quiet woodland setting while deepening your spiritual practices for inner peace…
We are pleased to welcome Naren K. Schreiner as teacher for this special Inner Peace Retreat weekend. Naren offers more than 25 years experience in meditation and chanting in Paramahansa Yogananda’s Kriya Yoga tradition.
This retreat is designed for all levels, both new and veteran practitioners of meditation and will focus on deepening our understanding and practice in the art and science of meditation rooted in the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. During the weekend, Naren will touch on yogic scripture, chanting to awaken devotion and deepen concentration, and guided meditation given with supportive postures. Naren will also be available for individual counseling and support for one’s meditation sadhana. Meditation postures will be reviewed during hatha yoga.
A harmonious balance of guided group activities along with ample free time for introspection and personal reflection creates a relaxing atmosphere. Walking trails weave throughout our forest property and allow you a safe and easy way to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, whether alone or with a small group.
If you’re longing for a respite from the demands of daily life and want to touch into the peace that is your true nature, please join us. Make your weekend a soul-enriching experience that resonates with you long after you leave.
